You're organizing an event in France and want to find a piper as if you were right in Scotland : I am the one you need. Coming in a Highland dress, i will play with
the Highland bagpipe all the famous tunes that you expect to hear from a scottish bagpiper. My setlist can also be completed by some melodies and dances from Ireland and Brittany. The duration of the show depends on your needs : please present me your requests and i'll play to satisfy them.
Scots Wha Hae
Technical conditions : Private space, near the location of the show, to change and to tune. Preparation time = 1 h. Financial conditions :
please consult me. Born Lewis by my french mother, I have chosen McLewis as my artistic name. The name of Lewis is both connected with the Clan MacLeod of Lewis and with the Stuart of Bute, a "sept" of the Clan Stewart. So I wear either a MacLeod tartan or a Royal Stewart one as you can see on most of my pictures. Wearing a Royal Stewart tartan is also a way to put forward the strong bounds between France and Scotland : as you know, it comes from the Royal Family of Scotland and the early Steward of Dol de Bretagne and Scotland (12th century), mainly represented by Marie Stuart, Queen of Scotland and France (17th century).
